Hellboy - Unedited Early Release for Patrons

This is a (mostly) unedited podcast.  It will contain background noises, misspeaks, and other errors. Also a couple corrections or "inserts" may be in the final version and not in this release.

But we are releasing this for our Patrons of $25 or more who want the fastest access to the show!

This will be removed when the final, edited show (the one we want to represent us and our show) is released on Tuesday, April 23rd, on the main feed for everyone.

Does Penny Marshall’s fable still play for a grown up audience? And how has parenting changed in the decades since this classic opened?  A small contribution is all that’s required to become a Now Playing Patron and Find Out!

The Nightmare Before Christmas

By 1993 audiences had become accustomed to Tim Burton’s dark, gothic style. We also had seen him depict goth, cold, snowy Christmases in both Batman Returns and Edward Scissorhands. Those two live-action films seem like a build-up to Burton’s now-classic The Nightmare Before Christmas. Though he handed the directing reigns to Henry Selick, Burton’s fingerprints are all over this stop-motion fairy tale he wrote and produced. Now celebrating its 25th anniversary, the Now Playing hosts join Jack Skellington and Sandy Claws in Christmas Town. Is the film a great present, or a lump of coal in our hosts’ stockings? Become a Now Playing patron now to find out!
